My Hero Academia Itasha Car
In the last couple of months across the United States and throughout the many pages of the Internet, a little black My Hero Academia car has been making appearances more frequently and has become quite recognizable. I have always wanted to create an anime car of my own but spent several years just brainstorming the idea. For those of you unknown with the term "itasha", it pretty much translates to "painful car", which is quite accurate considering how much of a pain it costs or how cringeworthy it can be to the general public. With that said, I have spent many years trying to research a good character, series, and theme to go with the design that I wanted for a vehicle, but for some reason, I was never able to bond with any concept I went for. Itasha cars, for the most part, focus on the typical waifu plastered on the hood or the sides of the vehicle. While I respect the idea of other male drivers putting their waifus on their cars, that was something that wasn't for me. As a gay man
Still Here Guys!
First of all, I'd like to drop my most sincere apologies to my DA watchers for I have not been as active as I should have in the past couple of months. I have been bombarded by school as I am now a senior level student at Full Sail University and I am only about 4 months from fully completing my degree.
Second of all, I've been traveling to some conventions in the past couple of months. I did my 49th con earlier this year in Seattle, Washington known to many as Sakura-Con. I was asked to attend my naturalization ceremony. At the event I was naturalized as an American citizen but I was also granted a legal name change. While it took a while to accept the fact, the reality it still kicking in and it will be a while before I am fully aware of the new me.
I will be attending Sakuracon in Seattle, Washington with a new name and while most people may not believe me that my name is different, I have the legal proof now.
With that said, thanks to everyone that supp
Sakuracon
Well, what can I say, Sakuracon will be my first convention as an American citizen and the first convention where my legal name will be Mr. Okumura. My 49th convention also has a lot of plans where I plan on traveling with ~nephrus (https://www.deviantart.com/nephrus) and spending a rather exciting weekend. This will also be the first time I get to travel and know that I will have friends in attendance. Last year when I went, I only ran into a few people, but this year it's expanded a bit more.
Looking forward to meeting my Vancouver-based friends :icontwinfools: and :iconVanderWolf: as well as my awesomely crazy gal friend :iconsupernovadobe:. I also plan on running into
